I like it for the most part, but need to put in a service call to check the thermostats. The oven takes a very long time to preheat and when I cook in it I have to turn the temp up 25 to 50 degrees higher, and things just don't seem to be as cooked as well as my old range. The top burners seem too hot. In the beginning when I turned on one burner, the one diagonally across from it would get very hot, but that seems to have resolved itself. I hope these are things that can be fixed with a service call adjustment. Two more cons: the light doesn't turn on when you open the oven door. This replaces a 25 year old oven so maybe that's a new thing? And the instruction manual - please! It's a sheet of paper and doesn't explain the timer function. There are instructions for self-cleaning and I see no knobs for self-cleaning, and I specifically requested a self-cleaning range. I bought a new, small room humidifier and it comes with an entire booklet of instructions. I found this incomplete pamphlet to be rather cheesy considering the amount I paid. My old range came with a full booklet and specific instructions on every function.

Looked at serval glass top models, and for the cost this one has very similar features, functionality, and design. Has cooked well through Thanksgiving and Christmas. Only complaint is that timer sound could be a little more annoying.

Unlike my last stove, I like where you can choose between a small or large burner. Last stove you had to use a switch. Sometimes, I forget to turn it back. This stove, you turn to the left to use the smaller burner, right to use the larger burner. A nice touch.

This stove is absolute garbage. I purchased it at the end of May. It's now the end of December and one of the burners has already died on us. It hasn't even been 1 whole year and this product is an absolute lemon. I tried to schedule a repair online and the "website is down." Garbage. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It is the product I really like it we also have Viking gas range. This range is used as primary cooking and installed in Garage as our cooking uses lot of oil so this product is good and easy to clean compared to gas range.

We have never owned a flat top stove before this and in one day will never use anything else. The heat up time is amazing. I am going to find some pans that are compatible with this range. Our old pans worked awesome I cannot wait to use GE's recommended cookware. Thanksgiving is two days away I cannot wait to cook my Turkey in the oven. The size is big enough to cook it and I imagine a pie and biscuits at the same time. This is a fun time to get a new stove and range. Thanks, I know you will enjoy yours when you purchase it.

Unfortunately after 18 years! I had to replace my glass top GE range. The coil went bad in the oven, other than that, it was perfect. I purchased the comparable new model and it doesn't compare. The temp runs high on the burners, and only 1 indicator light does not specify the burner that is on. And iv never had to clean and wipe and wipe
etc, to avoid blemishes...hate the dimpled cook
top. Should i really have blemishes from boiling eggs? Im thinking of returning

Wanted a range without all the frills so would have less things to go wrong. This is a nice range without all the stuff that can fail but is still capable of doing all the things you need. I did have to get used to the burner settings as they are much hotter than my old one at similar settings. So far so good hope I get 18 years out of this one like I did out of my old one.

This replaced my 25 y/o range. It is wonderful. Looks beautiful, is very easy to operate. Even though its the same size as my old stove, the oven is bigger because they made the storage drawer underneath smaller. Extra burner on cooktop too. A smaller burner within a larger which is nice. And top of stove does not get hot when oven is on. Top Notch service from Joe D's in Fairfield NJ. Delivery guys were awesome!

The only improvement I suggest is inserting a cover over the bottom heating element so food will not drop on it when cooking. Could be difficult to clean.

I got used to the old version of this GE range in my apartment when I was renting, so when I learned I would have to replace the range in my new condo after I moved in, I knew that I would go for this product.
