The amazing number of cycles with the great choices of options on each cycle are surprisingly simple to use Great capacity takes my huge comforter with ease and the spin cycle is so smooth my cat sleeps on top of it while its running. My last washer failed because of a clogged filter that could not be accessed without a technician to disassemble the machine. This model can be cleaned from a small door on the front. Brilliant design improvement. After I washed everything dirty I went through the house and washed everything in storage as well. My whole house smells clean. And the extra added special little treat was the cheerful little sea chanty that plays when the machine cycle is finished. It always makes me happy to hear the laundry is done

Not the best designed washer.

Bought this unit not too long ago. At first it was great Now it likes to leak on the floor and LG will do nothing about it. The design to pump Suds if there is too much detergent or you have soft water out the back of the washer is the most ridiculous design I have seen/heard of. My floors are worth way more than this washing machine and cant believe theyd do that. Honestly getting different brand soon that wont pump suds and water out of the BACK of the unit that you cannot see and no alerts or warnings. OH And they want you to run a tub clean cycle every three loads with other detergent There is NOTHING engery efficient about having to do that and I am very dissatisfied.

Reasonably Quiet - New Technology

I bought this washer WM3600HWA washer about two months ago. Compared a few different manufactures and LG was more available in this area. I like the washer since it is quiet. My concerns are repairability and reliability. Old WP one was very easy to fix by myself. There seems to be two technology advances. One been the more detailed cycles and the other is the app. I wonder if the detailed cycles are more restrictive of what I put in the wash. The app seems to be a monitoring device and has more adds and reminders than anything else. I just want to be able to monitor my wash add time from the app and get diagnostics in case of a repair. Hope repairs in the future will be nonexistent or very easy fixes in the future.I think I would still recommend this washer until we go back to an all mechanical system when is a more consumer friendly. :-

2 units with wheelbaring issue

LG needs to fire whoever designed their front loader washer. I bought the original front loader washer 9 years ago. It got replaced by lowes warranty 4 years ago. Now lowes warranty is buying out my unit and will be replacing it with a new one. The washers cant survive once a week washing for more than 5 years. It is horrible but Im stuck with LG because I have a stackable dryer and limited space for bigger units. Im pretty sure that the new one will not survive 5 years either. LG should be sued for this in a class action lawsuit.

Seal broke in just out of 1 year warranty

I am in the process of learning my repair options for a broken seal that is causing water to spill all over the floor. We bought the washer on 12/22/21 which puts us 3 weeks out of the manufacturers 1-year warranty. I regularly clean the tub and the filter and maintain the health of the machine and am therefore disappointed to see it break so quickly. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know.

Broken and several canceled repair appointments

We choose LG because of their good reputation. However our washer broke with in the first 7 months. Christmas Eve while I was preparing a cake for my soon to arrive guests I hear a loud pop and whoosh. I entered my family room to witness the door to the washer wide open my laundry thrusted into the floor and galloons upon gallons forcefully rushing into my room flooding the floor and approaching my Christmas tree and presents. My husband son and I jumped to action. It has now been over month with multiple repair appointments cancelled 1 resulting in a repair man being there for 20 minutes to supposedly order a part to be delivered to our home. That part has never shown up. Now we are unable to get a hold of the repair company and are getting the run around from LG customer service. Im at lost. I have 5 children and no washing machine for weeks.

Honest assessment of new LG ThinQ washing machine

My old model 12+ years LG washing machine died. So a new one was installed in mid-October 2022. The new machine made many unusual sounds which my older model did not make. In December an LG technician came out and said that these unusual noises were related to a new and smaller more efficient drain pump LG should have put that information in the owners manual and saved me a lot of hassles. Other than that the clothes washer works just fine. The LG technician also had some great tips which I appreciated. very much.

Delivery and install

The delivery team didnt use LG install procedures They turn the units upside down on the driveway. Then installed the pedestals then rotated them on the concrete. The leveling process was done by adjusting one of the front feet. The washer pedestal drawer was bent and needs to be replaced probably done when it was rotated on the concrete. Totally unacceptable. Machines seem to work OK.

I just bought LG ThinQ front load washer because my old top load broke. Everything is filthy and rough that is exactly what you get when washing bath robes and towels in a cup of water. I have to pre-soak my laundry manually to fool the machine into using few more drops of water and rinse 3 times. How is that saving water and electricity? I am literally deeply depressed to never experience the touch of clean soft towel or bath robe again.

Nice Features but buyer beware

I Just purchased this item and so far am pleased with the performance. The buyer beware remark came from this item only has a small drain hose 60 from bottom of machine. I have a standpipe drain which is about 60 from the floor and was unable to attach the drain hose. Customer service could only give me the advice You will need to purchase a pedestal. If I had been aware of this I may have purchased a different washer. I only found out about this problem when the washer was delivered. Item purchased shipped with home delivery and haul away from LG website. The problem is probably not limited to this particular model.

Beware

I woke in the middle of the night to an ocean of water spewing out this front loading machine. Fortunately I woke before it flooded the entire house. LG came out the next day and within a week it was repaired. Its working fine now but I wont leave the house with it running. The repairman assured me that it should not happen again and that it was a fluke that it happened in the first place.

Bought this washer in August. Chose LG because I had one years ago and it was awesome. This one doesnt even come close Clothes come out with odors of my cologne I am NOT a heavy user and my husbands deodorant which tells me they are not getting cleaned. I have reached out to customer service and was told a technician would be sent. The day before tech was supposed to arrive I was told that if the issue was not a warranty issue I would have to pay for service call REALLY??? Then a second CSR told me I need to clean the machine Even though it had only done maybe 20 loads as I had been traveling for an extended timeand then do it every two weeks Again REALLY?? Ready to request a refund but feel like it is going to cost me

On 11/15 I bought on line and the machine was delivered on 11/23. It was installed and tested and the delivery crew left. I opened the machine to try my first load of wash and the awful chemical smell filled my entire wash room. I tried running fragrant laundry detergent through a cycle but it dd nothing to reduce the odor. I call LG and they agreed to replace

less then two months old and it leaks and according to LG service it because we use too much detergent and its building up it the washer to fix it was told to do tub clean did it four time still leaks So I fixed it my self how you asked return it

Excellent washer performance

We are very pleased with this machine after one month of use. Its quiet has plenty of features and clothes are cleaned as they should be. This is our first front loading machine and it was purchased one month ago. There have been no adverse issues encountered thus far. Most negative complaints I read beforehand were about things that seem to be avoidable merely by following maintenance recommendations as defined in the instructions. There is more more preventive maintenance required than with top-load agitator washers but the machine is solidly built and all indications are it will last a long time.

I bought this washing machine about a month ago and am very happy. It is easy to use and very quite. The spin cycle takes so much moisture out that the clothes you cannot put in a dryer dry out in a few hours. It is crazy to say but I am having fun doing laundry.
